Search and Rescue

Our team takes to the skies to locate and save lives in the most demanding situations. Our onboard technology and years of experience allow us to navigate our area’s diverse landscape. We perform operations day and night, even during challenging weather conditions to bring individuals to safety. We conduct search and rescue exercises, as well as participate in real world operations, so the crew’s skills are maintained at the highest level. From Night Vision Technology to Forward Looking Infrared Camera, our Unit is trained to meet the mission.

Community Outreach

It is our goal to bring our program to local communities. We foster a strong connection between the team and the community through interactive demonstrations and educational programs. By showcasing our state-of-the-art equipment and expertise, we meet that goal by promoting safety awareness and inspiring the next generation. From early elementary students through graduate study programs and adult education, our team is available to inspire and educate.

Wildlife and Environmental

Our environment is one of our most essential resources. The Unit is committed to preserving the local natural biodiversity, from birds to wetlands. During its operations, it participates in environmental monitoring activities, reporting on issues like forest fires, hazardous material incidents, and threats to our local wildlife population. Their goal is to enable timely interventions to mitigate ecological damage.

Law Enforcement Airborne Support

Our Unit operates with precision and agility, providing crucial aerial assistance to all law enforcement operations during pursuits and surveillance operations. Our tactical flight officers and pilots represent a unique skillset, giving our law enforcement ground elements the critical overwatch over all phases of operations. We contribute to the effectiveness of ground units, ensuring a swift and coordinated response to enhance public security.
