December 4, 2023. Ridgefield, CT. Eagle 2 was in service to assist the Ridgefield PD for a missing hiker located south of the Danbury airport. He was located in a heavily wooded area.

November 29, 2023. Danbury, Ct. Eagle 2 was deployed to assist in the search for a missing person. The team leading this effort consisted of Alan Wilcoxson, NMPD's Deputy Chief, and Unit Pilot Tom O'Halloran. The primary focus of their task involved conducting a thorough search of the designated area, leveraging the capabilities of Eagle 2's onboard search and rescue technology platform.

November 11, 2023. Unit instructor Pilot Tom O’Halloran along with LT Earl Wheeler onboard Eagle 1 during Veteran’s Day parades supporting the community. Great seeing Veterans honoring Veterans. Both Tom and Earl served in the Armed Forces.


August 5, 2023. New Fairfield, CT. The Eagle unit was called into action and responded to a Silver Alert, playing a crucial role in saving the individual's life.

August 2, 2023. The Crew graced the kids at the town of Sherman’s Park and Rec camp with a show and flying demonstration.


June 9, 2023. Burnham School, Bridgewater CT. Eagle 1 flew in for some community outreach time with the kids.


October 15, 2022. There was a joint training and search and rescue exercise at Candlelight Farm. Both the NMPD and NMPD K-9 unit, along with its police officer handler, participated in the event.


February 21, 2021. Eagle 1 SAR Helicopter was completing a training mission and was on final approach to Sikorsky. They discovered a garage fire in Fairfield and immediately notified both the control tower and first responders over the radio. Within just a few moments, Fairfield Firefighters arrived as Eagle 1 orbited the fire several times before returning to the airport. The garage was destroyed and 2 homes were damaged. There were no injuries.
